About Hampden Park West

The geographical area covered by the Hampden Park West Neighbourhood Panel is bounded by the railway line at Cross Levels Way up to Hampden Park School along Brodrick Road to Willingdon Park Drive, Woodland Avenue out to Kings Drive then at Park College it follows the park boundary to Cross Levels way again west of the Broadwater Roundabout.

About the Hampden Park Neighbourhood Panel

The Hampden Park Neighbourhood Panel aims to address the concerns of residents, traders and visitors to Hampden Park, and to direct those concerns to the relevant public bodies that can help with the solutions.  The area covered by the panel ranges from Decoy Drive, Willingdon Park Drive, Brodrick Road, Percival, Hydneye, Lottbridge Drove out to Cross Levels Way and back along Kings Drive.  It includes the park and the village and is there to represent everyone.

Navigating to the Members list above will give a list of regular attendees at meetings which are held approximately 6 weekly at the Railway Club in the Village.

Navigating to Meeting Notes will give access to copies of notes taken at every meeting since the panel was started and includes attendees plus subjects addressed; Councillors or Officers who have taken up the queries; the conclusions and recommendations received back to the panel and ongoing issues.

In addition, there is an Urgent Action Point - what is to be done to the footbridge over the railway from Brodrick Road to make it impossible for vandals to throw various things from coins to supermarket trolleys, stones to concrete blocks onto the railway line and at train drivers.  This is currently being discussed by Network Rail and East Sussex County Council
