About the Shinewater Neighbourhood Panel
The Shinewater Neighbourhood Panel is now around a year old, and has been built around the key issues facing the area. The Shinewater Neighbourhood Panel area covers the whole estate as well as the Park and Causeway School.
The Panel has focused on environmental issues as well as crime ensuring that problems such as litter, youth engagement, and vehicle crime are focused on using the whole community to find solutions. Strong links have been build with the Beat Youth Club, who are based on Shinewater Field, Shinewater Sports Centre, and all schools in the area.
We have also worked with the Shaftsbury Centre in offering advice to the community as a whole. Our priorities over the time we have been working for the community have focused on responsible dog ownership, road safety, car crime, and litter and anti-social behaviour.
