About the Kings Park and Kingsmere Neighbourhood Panel
The Kings Park and Kingsmere Panel has been formed to bring together the two estates which makes up this small geographic area. The Panel is for both communities focusing on the issues and priorities affecting them.
The Panel has found that often when a problem is highlighted in one area is has knock on effects for the other, for example speeding and road related problems have been raised on all areas of the estates. The Panel has succeeded in allowing more residents to engage directly with Police giving a key route for information to flow.
The Panel meets quarterly at the Kings Park Hall on the entrance to their estate and is chaired by a local resident. In recent months misuse of drugs warrants, along with partnership working with the housing associations have brought about real, tangible results on the estate, however smaller issues, such as ASDA trolleys have also been looked at by the Panel.
